We set off on our travels on 10 Jan 2020 from Southampton for what we hoped would be 3 years and more of travelling the World and coming back from time to time to see family and friends.  We rented out our house so are in effect homeless but we are taking the plunge for the adventure of our lives!

COVID-19 – we had to pause our travels in Bangkok from March 20 to early Sept 20 when we returned to the UK. We restarted in Feb 2022 with a revisit to Bangkok with a stop for a few days in Bangkok on our return to the UK.

Our rescheduled travels restarted on 2 May 22 when we set sail on the Queen Elizabeth out of Southampton for Alaska, five weeks touring West Coast USA before rejoining the ship in San Francisco and returning via Barcelona to the UK in Aug 22. Our next adventure was to Australia & New Zealand followed by Japan, Canada & the USA. Followed by five months in USA & South America. In late 2024 we have just spent nearly five months in Asia.

Please get in touch if you want any further information on anything or suggestions you would like to see and we will try our best to include if we can.

This has taken a long time in the planning and we hope that what we write will be of some benefit to those thinking of doing something similar in the future.  We have found so much information on the internet which has helped us and we want to pass this on.
