Accompanied the Manchester Children’s Transplant Games Team in Newport for my last time this year (representing Kidneys for Life who have supported the Team for several years) having been with them in Sheffield, Bolton, Newcastle, Liverpool, North Lanarkshire and Birmingham and for the previous two games helped from the office when they went to Belfast & Medway.  It has been a fabulous time with the children and their families and have really enjoyed my time at the Games, even though I come back exhausted and need a holiday.  Denise and the team gave me a good send off with a lovely bouquet of flowers (which went to the official Gala Dinner – you needed to have been there) and a huge thank you.
