Unfortunately in Kotor we had our first day of rain. We had booked a Walking Tour of the Old Town, but unfortunately the majority cancelled, so it did not go ahead. We used the walking suggestion on the tourist map and set off in the rain. It’s a beautiful town, with many medieval buildings. Lots of cats in town and even a Cat Museum, they originally attracted tourists and have been encouraged ever since. We even spotted a Hard Rock Cafe shop! No Tshirt as we picked one up back in 2018. After a cup of coffee and the purchase of a local bottle of wine, we returned to the ship.
In Dubrovnik the weather was better but very low flying cloud, so our plan to go up in the cable car, for a view of the old town, was scuppered. We walked around the Central Old Town, after a beer in the Hard Rock Cafe, Tshirt purchased. It was really busy as two ships in port, it was Saturday, there was an International Dance Competition and it’s still half term! Since our last visit they are now charging €35 to walk the walls!
We saw some of the Game of Throne locations including the Walk of Shame. We finished off with a coffee and cake in a lovely cafe and headed back to the ship.
