Although it was raining when we arrived it soon cleared and we were off on our boat tour to try and see sperm whales and dolphins.

Not long into our trip we spotted loads of dolphins, mainly Fraser and Panpacific Spotted, which are much smaller and have more spots on their belly, the older they are, not that we could see their bellies!

We headed about 11 miles out as they had used the Hyrophone to locate a whale. It was just off the left hand side of the boat, luckily near where we were sat at the front of the boat. They generally stay near the surface fir about 10/15 mins before heading back down for up to 45 mins. We were lucky to see a whale even though the females and calves are permanent residents in the area.

A bumpy and wet ride back to shore, as we decided to stay out front, with the odd rum punch or two!

Fabulous trip and great to see so many dolphins.
