Visit to Pendennis Castle one of a pair which guarded the harbour at Falmouth in Henry VIIIs time and added to in Elizabeth Is time. Used in WW2 to keep the harbour safe from attack. Wedding at the Keep on the day, with a nicely decorated lower gun turret, which moved outside onto the castle walls afterwards and the entertainment was a group of singers singing shanties.
Glendurgan Gardens is a long garden starting at the top of a hill, which leads down past the maze to the bay. Planting felt like you were in the jurassic park film. Ice creams had by us all before the climb back to the top.
