• We left the Queen Mary 2 wheeling our own luggage (too much). We had a fabulous trip, met loads of people, did the odd quiz, watched the interesting lectures, saw some fabulous entertainment and met the lovely Maria and Enrique, from Buenos Aires, our dinner companions for our crossing.

We took a taxi to catch our National Express bus to Manchester, as our disembarkation time was 10am and our bus was 9.40am.

We were late leaving, as inbound bus was delayed. Lots of traffic and rained the whole time. Very tight change of bus at Birmingham, which was a very uncomfortable hire bus, completely full, train strikes being the main reason and arrived into Manchester 40 mins late.

Took another delayed bus home, story of our lives yesterday. Home now for a few months before our next adventure in Nov.
