On our last full day in Malta we decided on a leisurely stroll around the Three Cities:

– Vittoriosa or il Birgu
– Cospicua or Bormla
– Senglea, Isla or Cita Invicta

These are on the other side of the Grand Harbour in Valletta. We had seen a lot of this from our Harbour Cruise, but it was really nice to walk around and having coffee with a fabulous view. It was great to have a relaxing day taking in the wonderful architecture, especially the fortifications, balconies and doors. We didn’t go in any of the museums, we thought we could do this on our next visit, as we will definitely be back.

Finished off the day with food and drinks on the waterfront.
