Set off from Tewkesbury and our first visit was Croome Court which is a massive house in parklands designed by Capability Brown which was his first commission. Interiors by Robert Adam. Bookcases purchased by the V&A in 1975 have been returned on a 3 year loan but it will take a while to put them back in the library! Owned by the Earls of Coventry and currently a tangled web of who owns what within the estate, parklands, garden, house etc. RAF Museum on site which we will need to go back for another time.
Our afternoon was at the Western Country and Motorhome show at the Three Counties Showground, our first foray into investigating motorhome for future travel. Met Chris Chatting & John there, who spotted me before I spotted Chris! It was lovely to catch up. Overnight in Hereford.
