Not a good start to our week away for a bit of warmth and sightseeing in Malta.

First off over 2 hours late taking off on Ryanair, technical issue, de-icing the wings and a fault with electrics!

Finally arrived into Malta, in the rain, collected our hire car and set off to our hotel in Sliema. Got there having parked our car in their nearby free parking, only to find out, they had a flood last night and our room was not available. So they had booked us into another hotel in the Marriott chain, in St Julians Bay, took a few minutes in the rain.

Took a walk out to Hugos Bar for a meal and the odd drink before heading back to the hotel.

Fingers crossed the sunshine will be with us tomorrow 😎
